Adult Choir

The Adult Choir is composed of a dedicated group of volunteers who present anthems and special music for the 10:00 A.M. Sunday Worship Service and for other special services throughout the Church Year such as the Services of Maundy Thursday and Good Friday of Holy Week.

 

Regular weekly rehearsals are held on Thursday evenings beginning at 7:00 P.M. in the Choir Room, September - June. Those interested in singing in the Adult Choir are cordially welcomed to attend and join in the singing.  The ability to read music and having prior choral experience are helpful but not requirements.

 

The Adult Choir is dedicated to assisting all members of Christ Our King in deepening their love of Jesus Christ by enhancing our Worship through their offerings of Sacred Music.


Handbell Choir

The Handbell Choir rings a full five octave set of Schulmerich  handbells, 61 bells from C3 to C8, and a five octave set of Schulmerich   MelodyChimes, 61 chimes from C3 to C8. We ring approximately once each month during worship service. Interested ringers are always welcome. Although the ability to read music is preferred and prior experience with handbells is a bonus, we are happy to welcome anyone willing to learn a new skill. We rehearse at 8:30 pm on Thursday evenings in the sanctuary.
